What you?ll do on a typical day:

  • Anticipate, identify, and assess complex issues and problems within the People Services operations (e.g., telephony, HR systems, etc.) and provide solutions
  • Monitor and maintain effectiveness and efficiency of the People Services tools with a focus on quality improvement opportunities; keep up-to-date with vendors and tools in the industry to enhance People Services performance
  • Collect and analyze people-related data to aid in better decision making and continuous process improvement; develop key metrics to measure employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Identify and communicate system outages, issues and errors to the appropriate group
  • Identify, secure, and manage space and equipment requirements, and achieve timely and accurate deployment of all People Services infrastructure needs
  • Manage the maintenance and relevancy of the knowledge base including documentation of current processes and procedures
  • Work with team leads on scheduling and demand planning to ensure adequate coverage during normal and peak periods (e.g., holidays, open enrollment)

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you?ll need:

  • Bachelor?s degree in HR, operations, business, engineering, computer science, or related field
  • 8years of experience in a shared service organization or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated capabilities around HR operations applications (e.g., telephony, customer case management, scheduling)

 It?d be great if you also have:

  • 5 years of experience supervising staff
  • Six Sigma, Lean HR
  • Service center telephony, case and knowledge management, HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors), MS Word, Excel, and MS Project
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and respond to operational challenges in a timely manner
  • Experience managing performance driven by metrics
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent process management skills
