The Hospitality Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving revenue and room night occupancy at owned & operated hotel and managed lodging properties across the Vail Resorts portfolio of North American mountain resorts, leveraging data and guest segmentation to drive results. The ideal candidate is analytical in nature, has Product Marketing experience and has been in previous roles accountable for drive marketing ROI and revenue targets. This individual should have a proven track record demonstrating drive, ambition, business acumen, and emotional intelligence. This is an analytical role, and relationship building will be a key component of success. The position requires the ability to analyze data and to provide strategic insights with actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner to cross-functional stakeholders.
This person will deliver data and insights to support GTM planning, manage relationships with key business partners, manage OTA channels, deliver marketing insights based on Revenue Management & Marketing Analytics reporting, managing Hospitality Marketing Budget in partnership with Sr. Specialist, provide business context to Hospitality leads, develop process creation/management, develop core-sales & campaign strategy and optimization, manage and develop Sr. Marketing Specialist, and oversee marketing promotions and messaging to drive lodging occupancy, room nights and revenue. They will also work cross-functionally with other Marketing centers of excellence in powering the go to market strategy for multiple lodging properties across resorts and geographies.
The Hospitality Marketing Manager must be a good communicator that is able to give and take feedback, as well as effectively collaborate with team members and prioritize workflow. He/she will have their hands in many different types of projects and be responsible for delivering results on-time in a very fast-paced environment. Flexibility and a positive attitude are crucial, as well as the ability to process and determine strategy from multiple data sources.
