Description

PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVES:

 To manage pricing competitive intelligence capability, with subject matter expertise on pricing dynamics in prestige beauty

 To help lead the continuous improvement and evolution of pricing reporting and analytics capabilities, including the communication, marketing and training of this capability across the ELC organization

 To co-lead and support strategic projects focused on development of ELC’s pricing expertise and capabilities

 To provide strategic analyses used in executive-level presentations

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 Drive new reporting/analytics initiatives related to the Strategic Pricing System (SPS), the platform developed by Pricing for broad usage by ELC marketers and finance employees. Example: Ideate, design and create new report to identify recent competitive price changes

 Improve upon existing and develop new programs related to competitive intelligence and pricing expertise. Example: identify ways to more effectively deliver pricing insights to broader pricing community at ELC

 Participate in preparation for Steering Committee presentations and key strategic projects; recent examples include assessing FX impact on key markets; evaluating product margin variances by market.

 Manage key vendor relationships relating to competitive intelligence data

Qualifications

 Proactive and motivated, highly coach-able, with a positive attitude and high flexibility, and a tendency to look for continuous improvement and innovation opportunities

 Team player with ability to build and manage key relationships

 Excellent problem solving skills and experience with analyzing large amounts of data

 Strong comfort level with applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and with learning new systems as needed (ex: Anaplan)

 Excellent communication skills; an ability to distill complex issues into clear, concise communications

 Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience; management consulting experience valued

 Familiarity with prestige consumer goods industry preferred
