This position will support LLUHS`s strategic plan and the organization`s mission to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ, while embracing the core values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Wholeness.
Working under the direct supervision of the MC Director-Decision Support Services and in collaboration with hospital finance and operations leadership, the Manager-Decision Support Services is responsible for direct oversight and management of the service line support analysts.
Identifies opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost savings and optimization for the Medical Center, with primary focus on service line support.
Provides reliable information and effective training to assist medical center leadership in making sound financial, operational, or policy decisions. Performs other duties as needed.
Acumen and aptitude for complex business principles, especially as it relates to healthcare operations, finance and economics. Requires ability to extract data from multiple financial systems and manipulate with ease and accuracy. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
Adaptability to a variety and routine office work. Ability to interface with varying levels of organizational stakeholders, present to groups, and teach finance principles and concepts. Excellent client relationship management skills, including the ability to cultivate positive, favorable working relationships with the various organizational stakeholders.
Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Ability to deal effectively with people and elicit support from other department areas, vendors, and customers.
Excellent analytic, written and verbal communication, and documentation skills.

Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
MBA, MHA or equivalent degreerequired. A minimum of five years progressive experience in health care finance or operations required.
