This Manager will build and manage a team of Global Alliance Managers (GAMs) who will work with the largest and most systemically important Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Utilities in the Financial Services Industry. This leader will be both a Sales manager and a Partnership manager. As a Sales leader this individual will work with their team of highly skilled sales professionals to assist these companies in adopting and optimizing their use of AWS by managing global relationships, deciding investment strategies, and negotiating contracts. As a Partnership manager this individual will over see joint go-to-market strategies, migration strategies for their customers and deeper integrations between AWS service teams and these ISVs/Utilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a both a sales management and partner management background that enables them to lead a team of senior enterprise Alliance Managers.

Roles & Responsibilities: · Hire and build out enterprise sales/partnership teams · Assign sales territories, set goals and quota, and ensure proper training programs for the sales team. ·Define new strategies for going to market in the financial services market. Manage and coach the team to optimal performance. · Drive revenue, market share and customer migrations in across the financial services industry. Accelerate customer adoption and customer satisfaction · Maintain a robust sales pipeline · Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption. Manage contract negotiations. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts ·


10-15years of financial services and technology related sales, partnerships, or business development management experience. The candidate must have experience working with a large Global Financial Services organization as a Sales and/or Partner Manager. The candidate must have direct management experience of 8 or greater direct reports. Must be able to manage and coach the sales/partnership team to optimal performance - including defining quotas and territory assignments. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required. Candidate must possess demonstrated hiring, and management experience, decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skill


Direct field and partnership management experience in managing teams calling on with enterprise customers/ISVs/Utilities · Strong leadership skills · A technical background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems · Strong verbal and written communications skills · Extensive customer network.
