Position Summary:

The Manager, Financial Analysis and Process Improvement supports the Financial Operations team by performing analysis and driving improvements for Payment Operations, Cash Application, Collections and Hospital Billing and Credit File Processing departments. The Manager, Financial Analysis and Process Improvement will develop and deliver department metrics and utilize those metrics to identify, design and implement processing efficiencies in order to improve the overall performance of the department.Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Execute all phases of information deliverables including performance metrics, data mining, analysis, high quality insights and recommendations, presentation and communication to internal and external clients

Develop, maintain and publish performance metrics for each department

Produce reports and other requested deliverables including financial analysis

Design internal and external facing dashboards for trending and benchmarking

Use data visualizations appropriately and effectively

Perform troubleshooting, research and issue resolution based on insights gained from performance metrics

Identify opportunities, develop solutions and drive initiatives to continuously improve daily processes

Develop thorough knowledge of business processes

Develop and lead project plan to implement solutions

Create SOP documentation for existing and new business processes

Create measurable and reportable performance metrics

Serve as Project Manager for Financial Operations; develop project plans, implementation timelines, assign resources and manage projects through completion

Serve as liaison between Financial Operations and IT; develop specifications, participate in product grooming, develop test plans and lead user acceptance testing efforts

Identify areas of improvement for processes that span across various Inmar departments. Work with business partners to change processes in order to better serve internal and external clients

Communicate results effectively and appropriately to audiences at a wide range of organizational levels

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in business or a related field with four to six years of experience in business analysis or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the job responsibilities

Advanced technical skills with the ability to communicate technical requirements, and compose a business process flow using applications such as MS Visio, SmartDraw, or other graphics/diagramming application

SQL and VBA strongly preferred; Alteryx a plus

Knowledge of GAAP strongly preferred

Six Sigma Yellow Belt strongly preferred

Proven ability to compose complex professional business correspondence, reports and analyses

Ability to troubleshoot complex data problems

Ability to train other associates on business processes

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and business problems simultaneously

Ability to solve problems with minimal instruction and guidance

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software products (Excel, Access, Word), SQL Server management studio, Google products (email, calendar, Drive)

Proven documentation skills

Self-starter with initiative and sense of urgency

MBA preferred
