Position Description:
Penn Presbyterian has an opening and opportunity for a Manager of Finance, Pharmacy and PeriOperative Services!
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Monitoring and reporting all financial activities of all PPMC Pharmacy sites to include Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacies, Infusion Suites (PPMC and Cherry Hill) and Penn Medicine University City
Preparing expense and capital budgets, financial reports and statistics, analysis
Assessing benchmark data, assisting with the evaluation of new programs
Assisting with management of salary and supply expenses
Providing direct support to the Pharmacy Director, Pharmacy Managers, Financial analyst and Pharmacy Purchaser
Leading to develop 340B compliance strategies at PPMC
Performing audits at PPMC to determine 340B compliance
Coordinating reviews and ensuring daily patient charge reconciliations
Performing regular audits of SRx and Pyxis formularies
Serving as the point person for managing several UPHS programs across entities, including revenue cycle processes, investigational drugs services, identifying cost savings opportunities, evaluation of new programs and supporting implementation of efficient business operations

Monitoring and reporting all financial activities of all accounting units that report to the Associate Executive Director, Perioperative Services
Preparing expense and capital budgets, financial reports and statistics, analysis and assessment of benchmark data
Assisting with the evaluation of new programs, and assisting with management of salary and supply expenses
Providing financial expertise and analytical support to the administrators who oversee the entire Perioperative service areas at PPMC
Participating in PPMC/UPHS committees as required
Assisting hospital administration and Periop leadership in identifying and managing quality improvement and cost savings opportunities

Managing the OR charge capture process, ensuring all hospital Periop patient charges are accounted for, coded correctly, and entered into the Hospital systems within the time frame of hospital guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred
5 or more years relevant experience required
General knowledge of accounting and budgeting, financial analysis or healthcare finance required
Strong interpersonal, leadership, self motivating, and multi-tasking skills required
Ability to manage rapidly changing priorities required
Knowledge of budget preparation, administration, quantitative analysis, personnel and fiscal operations required
Experience with complex organizations and large budgets required
Working knowledge of spreadsheet applications, word processing, and database software required
Must be able to use creative judgment and initiative to meet budgetary and project deadlines
Creative ability is needed to solve routine and non-routine problems related to fiscal management, billing and reimbursement systems and data analysis
Mastery of exercising good judgment in evaluating financial statistics and data when assisting with programmatic or budgeting decisions required
