Manager, Finance - HybridLambert Nemec Group, Winnipeg's leader in Permanent Accounting & Finance Recruitment, has partnered with our client, a large national company with its roots in Manitoba, to recruit a skilled financial accountant to lead a team in financial planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and budgeting. The Manager, Finance will work collaboratively with the leadership team and provide analytics and value-added insight to the organization.

Responsibilities:- Provide financial planning support, including forecasting & financial reporting management, as well as the overall financial processes and financial integrity.
- Prepare the corporate reporting package, including providing succinct consolidated analysis and comparing current results to previous forecasts, budget, and prior year.
- Effectively lead a team of junior staff in areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
- Foster a strong working relationship with business operations to ensure connected applications are interfacing seamlessly.
- Monitor the integrity of accounting systems and Build various financial reports to support financial analysis
- Identify and implement new processes that streamline and create efficiencies in the month-end reporting processes.
- Special projects on an ad hoc basis.
- Prepare corporate tax schedules and working papers to facilitate the completion of the annual tax return.
Experience & Qualifications - 6+ years' experience in accounting and financial management.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to partner with various cross-functional groups and management.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, take ownership of issues, and see through to resolution
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Ability to drive results while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Base salary $90,000 to 110,000
