Coordinates monthly financial review meetings, agendas and presents financial statements for all behavioral health programs. Discusses receivables, expense variances and revenue issues (shortfalls/excess).
Conducts in-depth meetings with grant program directors to address issues prior to overall discussion with Senior management. Drafts necessary communications to County officials to maximize funding for Senior management
Prepares and provides various analyses and reports to the Corporate Office to support Crozer activity for government programs.
Manages and coordinates tasks and development opportunities for local grant and reimbursement accounting staff. Reviews and approves submissions of journal entries and account reconciliation
Prepares monthly journal entries for grant revenues and expenses along with monthly accruals and adjustments for Crozer government reimbursement programs and explains variances across multiple comparison results for Corporate leadership. Performs monthly account reconciliations for grant and reimbursement accounts ensuring audit compliance
Supports all reimbursement opportunities associated with Behavorial Health Programs, including Drug & Alcohol and Mental Health at the County level. Acts as liaison between County personnel, Sr. Management at CKHS and Finance department. Monitors all grant expenditures and associated controls, to ensure organizational compliance with broader regulations at Federal, State and Local levels
Prepares and tracks all acute care grant receivables/billings on monthly basis. Keeps outstanding balances to 60 days or less, on average. Addresses and reconciles issues that hamper cash flow, while also supporting Senior Management when targeting year end settlements.
Oversees tuition billing and reconciliation of multiple Allied Health Student Programs with various local colleges and universities.
Reviews CDM maintenance for updates made by support staff and assists with Tobacco Attestation requirements
Education and Training:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or related field is required.
Masters degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum 8-10 years related experience
In depth knowledge of healthcare finance as it relates to grant programs and cost report filings, knowledge of Local, State & Federal regulations.
Supervisory experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
Demonstrated project management skills including ability to lead team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, and Blackline.
