Our Americas Corporate office, based in Atlanta, Georgia, is currently seeking a Manager, Finance & Business Support to provide financial, analytical & business planning support & advice to assigned business units to ensure their success in implementing the company's strategic priorities. Work with senior management to develop, support and present business plans that drive results. Analyze operating, forecast, and budget information to use the results of analysis to make effective strategic decisions. Convert financial principles into use in the hotel industry. Summarize prepared data for use in presentations to top management. Identify potential areas of opportunities for increased return on investment or efficiency of strategic planning/forecasting processes. Develop and utilize analytical tools to highlight critical concerns and make appropriate recommendations based on filings. Travel 10% of time.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Business Administration, Hospitality Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field and eight (8) years’ experience in the offered role or in financial planning & analysis, financial consulting, or a related role. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Business Administration, Hospitality Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and six (6) years of experience in financial planning & analysis, financial consulting, or a related field. Employer will also accept one (1) year of related work experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.
Technical Skills and Knowledge - Experience must include: analyzing operating forecasts and budget information for strategic decisions; utilizing financial statements and principles; PeopleSoft or Hyperion; Public Accounting; and demonstrated experience working at a “Big 4” firm
