Job Summary:
The Manager, Finance/Accounting Post-Acute Services will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation and profit and loss reporting. The position will oversee all accounting acitivities related to revenue cyle management, income auditing, establishing and reporting on performance metrics, accounts payable processing, tax compliance and payroll.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee financial operations of Hoag at Home
- Manage and provide ongoing training to accounting personnel
- Conduct weekly and monthly financial assessments and generate reports to be submitted to the senior management team
- Establish budgets in accordance with the requirements of Hoag
- Allot funds for capital projects and work with the other Hoag departments to ensure they stay on track financially
- Develop annual financial plans and projections for the company
- Conduct analysis of financial risks and benefits on business initiatives
- Responsibility for 6 service lines home health, hospice, home md, private duty home care, home infusion, medical equipment
- Responsible for budgeting / forecasting
- Performs monthly revenue accruals for each product line
- Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly metrics reports, annual cost reports
- Responds to payment audits, TMR requests, ADR requests, refund requests
- Manages financial hardship program / requests
- Troubleshoots payer issues with payers to ensure timely payment
- Responsible for EMR payer rule maintenance, EMR regulatory maintenance
- Manages outsourced revenue cycle management company relationship until revenue cycle management is brought in house
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

Required:
- 7+ years financial management experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong computer and software skills
- Knowledge of home health, hospice, home infusion, and private duty home care business lines
License and Certifications
Required: N/A
Preferred: CPA with a California certification
