Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly talented Manager - Federal Tax Compliance for our Dallas, TX office.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Manager of Federa Tax Compliance will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with managing co-source federal compliance relationships, ensuring all deadlines are met including estimated payments, extension and return filings.

  • Assisting with the preparation and review of domestic corporate income tax and joint venture returns, estimated tax and extension payments

  • Assisting with the preparation of rate forecasts and domestic tax provision pursuant to ASC 740 and related tax footnotes and disclosures for SEC reporting requirements.

  • Developing audit ready files to support tax filings.

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with various operating segments within the Company.

  • Proactively identifying, recommending and implementing process improvements.

  • Working on special tax projects such as M&A transactions, integrations and reorganizations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or related degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education

  • 8+ years of large-scale, complex tax experience with a public accounting firm or a multi-national public company.

  • Strong knowledge and proven capabilities in federal income tax compliance.

  • Working knowledge in the area of accounting for income taxes (ASC 740).

  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities.

  • Experience with CorpTax tax software.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA and/or Master’s degree

  • Previous experience with partnership returns
