Provide analytics and support for fair market value activities

Assist in maintaining processes to remain in compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations on fair market value

Major Accountabilities
• Maintain compliance with fair market value processes and systems for Novartis operating divisions in the U.S. pertaining to fee for service arrangements with Commercial entities (e.g., Specialty Pharmacies, Wholesalers/Distributors, PBMs, GPOS, HUBs, Copay vendors, etc.)
• Work with the business stakeholders to provide fair market value analysis and training ·
• Assist in maintaining collaborative platforms and shared drive with all processes, business rules and documents relating to fair market value activities
• Manage interfaces between the different stakeholders in fair market value
• Work with cross-functional/cross-divisional teams, updating them on a regular basis on develop-ments and progress made with the fair market value process
• Assist with maintaining all fair market value Work Process Documents (WPDs) and remain in com-pliance with all pertinent WPDs
• Ensure fair market value compliance with the Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) requirements, including documentation and records retention
• Work with Associate Director and Director to provide communications and training as needed across the organization
• Assist in implementation of process/system enhancements projects for fair market value activities

Minimum requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s or equivalent 4-Year University degree required, preferably in Finance/Accounting. MBA or CPA preferred
• 3 Years relevant experience in finance, accounting, or economics preferably within Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry.

Skills & Competencies

• Experience conducting financial analysis/valuations, preferably fair market value analysis of healthcare business, compensation, and various service agreements for management planning and regulatory compliance purposes
• Proactive mind-set and ability to execute multiple assignments simultaneously
• Strong financial modelling skills; Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical ability to effectively assess, monitor and analyze different vendor programs
• Strong customer orientation ability with ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with Associate Director / Director levels, across the organization
• Good communication skills with an ability to challenge status quo and propose alternatives
• Understanding of vendor contracts preferred
