About this Role

The Manager, Environmental Services will lead the planning and execution of projects from an environmental perspective, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with regulatory standards and client sustainability goals. This role will focus on driving environmental stewardship, fostering professional growth within the team, and strengthening relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to advance environmental initiatives.

What You'll Do

 

  • Develops and drives environmental solution opportunities within assigned regions and key client accounts, leading strategic efforts to achieve scalable growth
  • Analyzes emerging market opportunities based on client needs, assessing potential for growth and profitability; initiates and nurtures strategic alliances to support long-term expansion
  • Ensures Company and project compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and permits (e.g., Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, NEPA, state/local regulations)
  • Leads environmental assessments, permitting processes, and mitigation strategies during project planning and execution
  • Develops, implements, and maintains environmental management systems (EMS), policies, and best practices across operational areas
  • Prepares and submits required environmental reports, permits, notices, and documentation to agencies and internal stakeholders
  • Develops environmental training programs for project teams as needed
  • Supports investigation and response to environmental incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Interfaces with regulatory agencies, clients, landowners, and community stakeholders on environmental issues as needed
  • Identifies opportunities to improve environmental performance and integrate sustainable practices into operations
  • Leads and facilitates strategic workshops to uncover client needs, define service offerings, and activate go-to-market plans
  • Partners with Commercial Operations and Development teams, providing tools, insights, and resources to enhance client engagement and business development efforts
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Planning, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in environmental project management, personnel management, business management, and business operations
  • Demonstrated expertise in federal, state/provincial, and local permitting and regulations that concern the management of natural resources in the energy sector
  • Proven experience leading and managing environmental teams, with the ability to align departmental objectives with broader corporate strategies and goals
  • Travel Required- up to 25%
