Process, Portfolio & Delivery Management (PPDM) is a newfunction within Marketing Operations that is responsible for building andsustaining enhanced capabilities that support efficient management andexecution of the Enterprise Marketing portfolio. PPDM drives operational efficiency andexcellence in execution by building, using and monitoring processes and toolsthat optimize the way that the Enterprise Marketing organization works. This role will be a part of the Portfolio & DeliveryManagement Team and will report to a Portfolio & Delivery Manager thatsupports a specific portion of our comprehensive portfolio. The Marketing Project Manager will beresponsible for the timeline/project management to drive efficient execution ofour Marketing programs. This role will serve as a liaison between MarketingStrategy, Enterprise Marketing Resource Management and Internal/ExternalCreative Agencies to drive efficient and effective execution of work whileensuring that there is maintained visibility to the on-going status of projectswithin the portfolio.
The Manager Enterprise Marketing Portfolio & Delivery Management will be responsible for coordinating and driving the successfulcompletion of projects for the Marketing Department, including prioritization,project planning, and communication.
Primary Duties andResponsibilities:
*Understand current and future portfolio needscoordinating and streamlining the flow of projects for all parties involved
*Coordinatethe workflow of marketing strategy development coupled with management ofmulti-channel projects such as digital, print, video, emails, and social mediaprojects ensuring all are delivered on-time.
*Understand decisions around tiering and prioritizationand lead involved parties accordingly
*Assess on-going resource needs for assignedprojects and coordinate with Enterprise Marketing Resource Manager to ensure resourcedemands can be met, shifting priorities where needed
*Work closely with project stakeholders to developtimelines/project plans based on determined project tier
*Responsible for timely and accurate updating ofproject status in MRM solution
*Monitor and track project issues/risks and theimpacts to project delivery and help develop solutions
*Gather necessary information from businesspartners & communicate to relevant parties, where applicable
*Escalate project issues/risks to the Portfolio& Delivery Manager where necessary
*Govern process and documentation standards toensure projects are tracked and completed on-time and in compliance withstandards
*Work with peers and Enterprise Marketing ResourceManager to understand inter-portfolio implications and help develop mitigatingsolutions, escalating to the Portfolio & Delivery Manager where necessary
*Where applicable, engage Process Design,Optimization & Governance team to assist in leading post mortems to identifyopportunities for move forward process optimization or mitigation
*3+ years of project and/or portfolio management experience
*Experience working in creative marketing agencies or marketing organizations – understands marketing workflow and skillsets
*Ability to multi-task a variety of initiatives/ projects in an a fast-paced environment
*Ability to flex and navigate effectively through ambiguity
*Understands marketing workflow and skillsets
*Working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
*Strong organizational, analytical, communication and operational skills
