Position Description Overview

Team member will be part of the Enterprise Business Continuity (EBC) group reporting to the Regional Head of Enterprise Business Continuity. The regional group reports into the global team based in the US. The EBC Manager will assist in the development, implementation, testing, education and maintenance of the Enterprise Business Continuity program across all departments to ensure ongoing business continuity in the event of an emergency or disaster. Will maintain standards and ensure that all plans are documented and meet those standards. The individual will work in conjunction with department contacts to ensure a high level of awareness across the company as well as the appropriate preparedness of personnel during the event of a disaster. Implement firm-wide Enterprise Business Continuity Policies and Standards. Provide guidance to Business Units and ensure they are meeting Enterprise Business Continuity's Policies and Standards. Participate in the firm-wide Enterprise Business Continuity steering committee and escalate issues as necessary.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise for all Business Resiliency / Disaster Recovery concepts, methodology and best practices.
  • Manage new commitments made to the FFIEC regarding exercise scheduling for critical applications with DR requirements.
  • Develop exercise scenarios to enhance data center DR testing maturity and lead test execution with required program stakeholders.
  • Responsible for ensuring client engagement to participate in DR exercises as appropriate.
  • Engage EBC steering committee and other control committees to review appropriateness for any DR exercise schedule amendments.
  • Develops and implements controls and/or solutions to complex business problems to ensure risks and exposures are properly mitigated.
  • Guide Business Resiliency / Disaster Recovery Coordinators and business managers to document a Business Impact Analysis for all LOB (line of business) functions
  • Partner with all business and technical program stakeholders to implement robust resiliency solutions and plans (move and resume operations to another facility, work load transfer, work from home).
  • Validate all resiliency solutions and plans have been adequately tested during annual exercises.
  • QA resiliency documentation to ensure plan strategies are sufficiently implemented.
  • Operate EBC toolset used to maintain all resiliency-related documentation (BIA's, plans, test scope and results, metrics and reporting, etc)
  • Monitor and assist with response for mitigating all incidents that affect company assets (technology, weather, power, etc) in partnership with the Joint Security Operations Center (JSOC) and GIO Command Center (GCC).
  • Participate in all audit & regulatory reviews that include Business Resiliency & Disaster Recovery

Scope of Job

Directs most complex and creative cross-functional assignments and multiple phases of a project. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects that may include multiple platforms.

  • 6+ years of related experience in an analytical position.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with industry recognized Professional Certification (preferred).
  • Graduate degree in CS, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Mathematics preferred
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong project management skills/capabilities and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and maintain detailed project plans and documentation
  • Long-range thinking, planning, and development of plans against a defined strategy, paired with a track record of strong tactical execution Line of Business experience a plus
  • Be available during off duty hours and willingness to travel to Fiserv facilities as necessary
  • Be classified as a subject matter expert of analytics, data science, business intelligence, business resiliency / disaster recovery concepts and methodology, along with payments industry best practices
  • Proficiency in Tableau or similar data analytics platform preferred
  • Experience leading response to large scale incidents
  • A mind for process, a passion for data, and a willingness to take on tough challenges
  • Possess an understanding of the business resiliency / disaster recovery planning cycle including analysis, design, implementation, validation, testing, problem resolution
  • Possess knowledge of all technologies relevant to responsibilities, with a strong understanding of relational databases
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of constituencies, including senior executives Strong analytical framework and advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) skills required
  • Experience with leading and implementing projects
