The Engine Services Accounting group is looking for an individual to back-fill the role of NGPF (GTF program) Accountant. The NEO program is active but the remaining programs (C-Series, Embraer, Irkut, MRJ etc.) require some set up and processes to be developed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Support the monthly closing for NGPF engines including accounting requirements under the new revenue recognition standard • Provide Party company reports for monthly reporting • Support FP&A and audit questions • Supplemental reporting for UTC • Perform account reconciliations • Develop accounting and processes for new NGPF engine programs • Drive system enhancements for new NGPF programs and to streamline existing processes • Work with IT to develop and implement SAP solutions for new NGPF programs • Support the implementation of Deferred Revenue database for new NGPF programs • Contract reviews to ensure accounting treatment is proper given the contractlanguage Additional projects as needed Engine Services is responsible for administering and accounting for long term aftermarket contracts as they relate to engine maintenance. The team records $2B in sales and is a large driver of cash, revenue and EBIT for Pratt and Whitney Commercial. As engines mature there are more overhauls and more opportunities to get involved in different types of transactions and set precedent for the future.
5-7 years of related experience Be comfortable with SAP Be proficient in Excel Have demonstrated controls and process improvement experience
Bachelor's degree required
