Insight Global’s client in the Sandy Springs, GA area is looking for a Manager of End-User Support to join their team and manage 6-8 people. The role manages day to day activities of the corporate offices, geographically distributed End User Computing team and End user devices across all warehouses. This person will be 50% management and 50% technical – he/she will be responsible for the supervision/development/for the End User Computing teams across the organization. This person will also manage team schedules, ensure adequate coverage during EUC support hours, prepare reports on team workloads/budgets, work with hardware/software resellers vendors. In addition, this person will create and maintain documentation for systems and procedures, perform asset management, maintain hardware inventory, and track software licenses for all end-users and end user equipment. Our ideal candidate will see projects through to completion and have strong leadership and communication skills.
Must Haves:
• 10+ years of experience working in IT related role and 5+ years in a management/leadership capacity.
o Experience supervising a team of 6-8 people or more
• Must have experience the follow 3 areas of End User Computing (EUC)
o RF equipment knowledge (i.e. VMUs, hand-held scanners, etc.)
o Corporate support
o Experience supporting WMS systems
• Someone who shows drive for project completion & demonstrates strong leadership/communication qualities
Preferred:
• Experience w/w Honeywell or Zebra products.
