Job Description


The purpose of this role is to manage day-to-day business operations of the eCommerce platform and department ensuring all resources, processes, and systems are working to their peak performance. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.


The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned

  • Single point of contact for intradepartmental relationships between, Customer Care, Asset Protection, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, IT, Merchandising, and support vendors
  • Project manage all ecommerce related activities from discovery to implementation on-time and under budget
  • Monitor, report, and ensure departmental and platform SLAs and KPIs are being met within established tolerance; i.e. inventory levels, pick-pack-ship, on-time delivery, revenue, call volume, and site performance

  • Perform daily site audits to ensure accuracy of promotions and proper user experience


    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position directly supervises Coordinator, eCommerce Catalog, Web Producer, e-commerce, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Rite Aid policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining associates; appraising associate performance; and resolving complaints

Experience / Requirements

  • Five (5) years' of experience in eCommerce project management, operations, or consulting required
  • Three (3) years' of experience in DigitalMarketing or Merchandisingpreferred
  • Two (2) years' of experience in eCommerce Fulfillmentpreferred
  • One (1) year of experience in drugstore, mass or grocery retailpreferred
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Business, Marketing or ITrequired
  • Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) Business, Commerce, Marketing or ITpreferred
