The Manager, Direct Procurement oversees the detailed design of our Direct Procurement processes. You are the essential liaison between the project and the end users and promote the solution within the business. You aid in the design of reports, forms, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and user authorizations. You will lead regional team of super users to provide a global perspective for business process decisions to ensure system built meets the our requirements.

About the Job

  • Represent the requirements for Direct Procurement Process
  • Determine our processes and provide input to system configuration decisions in your area(s) of functional expertise
  • Provide input to the Global Process Coordination Office to help ensure a global perspective for business process decisions
  • Identify, document, and resolve issues
  • Develop business process documentation (process flows, business process procedures, etc)
  • Develop presentations
  • Help develop training materials (identification, documentation, validation, etc)
  • Identify test scenarios and develop test scripts
  • Test system(s) configuration, development objects, and user-authorizations
  • Provide first line of support during implementation stabilization period
  • Support data conversion activities (strategy, data cleansing, validation, etc)
  • Deliver training to end-user community
  • Support change management activities

During the various phases of the implementation project, team members should expect to support different activities appropriate for that particular phase (e.g. design and documentation, vs. testing vs rollout)

About You

  • Degree in operations, industrial engineering, mathematics, statistics, supply chain, logistics, or equivalent
  • Experience in Supply Chain/Supply Planning Industry
  • In-depth knowledge of our processes in functional area
  • 5+ years of experience with one or more business domain areas with business application knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to move forward with incomplete information
  • Experience as a current system user
  • Empowerment to make decisions on functional, process, or operational changes
  • Excellent team player skills, with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Raise relevant issues, achieve solutions, and make decisions under time constraints
  • Experience with system implementations preferred
  • Experience conducting presentations and training
  • Application software skills, including presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing applications
  • Ability to adapt to changes
