Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Leads the strategic thinking, development and execution of Mattel’s digital roadmap
  • Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to optimize online activities and investments
  • As digital thought leader, maintains awareness of new digital platforms and vendor partners
  • Leads digital learning across the commercial organization
  • Act as the digital advocate and point person within Mattel's global organization
  • Coaches and develops digital marketing team

 
Media:
 

  • Assists brand teams in developing, briefing and evaluating digital media plans
  • Leads and executes Search strategy and optimization
  • Works with agencies for test and learn opportunities
  • Conducts digital performance evaluation to optimize future initiatives
     

CRM:
 

  • Leads CRM development across brands for Canada
  • Develops database acquisition strategy and tactics
  • Leverages global strategies, tactics and content
  • Develops local content, driving engagement and conversion
  • Manages the CRMbudget to ensure lowest cost of quality acquisition

 
Websites and Social Platforms:
 

  • Manages brand websites content and product updates
  • Develops social content strategy for locally managed pages
  • Coordinates agency, brand and customer marketing team collaborations
  • Manages social media amplification of events, e.g. Facebook live
  • Coordinates with global brand teams to ensure alignment on brand strategies
  • Manages influencer marketing campaign strategy, optimization and execution

 
E-Commerce:
 

  • Leads the development of Mattel’s over-arching E-commerce strategy
  • Ensures synergy and amplification of brand initiatives to E-commerce channels
  • Consults on flawless retailmerchandisingprocesses and execution
  • Maximizes all conversion opportunities
  • Supports to establish Mattel as the leading online toy partner in the market
  • Develops 2 direct reports to drive excellence in E-Commerce

 
 Experience, Education & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing, MBA an asset
  • 3 - 5 years of digital marketing expertise a must
  • years of brand marketing experience

  • Excellent leadership, organizational & analytical skills
  • Excels in a team environment
  • Strong web and PC skills including Excel, Word and Power Point
