DESCRIPTION: The role of DevOps Manager/Architect is a blend of architecture, automation, development, application administration and people management. It is a hands-on technical position in a fast-paced atmosphere, and the successful candidate must be able to adjust to constant business change. The ideal candidate has prior experience leading and managing a technology roadmap, as well as strives to solve traditional operations problems through automation and software. More so, the candidate must possess a high standard of excellence, have a strong customer focus, and is capable of technical deep-dives into code, web platform technology, system performance, and release management. The DevOps Manager/Architect designs and evangelizes the DevOps and Release Management disciplines and platform for

• Serve as key leader and expert on DevOps and Release Management practices and components
• Lead the establishment and maturation of DevOps and Release Management internal practices, as well as ensure accurate documentation is kept and shared with internal and external partners
• Implement solutions for automation of application build, test, deployment, configuration management, and orchestration
• Coordinate release calendar and schedule with Manager, eCommerce Projects
• Oversee the planning and execution of monthly website releases including:
• Release calendar and schedule
• Development process
• QA/UAT execution
• Defect logging and resolution
• Hot fix prioritization and execution
• Oversee website performance monitoring, from vendor relationship management to dashboard and reporting development
• Oversee 24/7 website technology support process and participate as on-call and escalation lead
• Oversee QA and UAT procress
• Stay abreast of current industry best practices, tools, and methodologies


• 7+ years experience in technology architecture, website development, release management, and production support (combined)
• Proven track record leading and developing a technology team in a faced paced and ever changing environment

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently

• Bachelor degree in business, information systems, or related field required, MBA or MIS a plus
• 3+ years of leading technology teams experience
• 3 years of ecommerce experience (ecommerce working with SFCC and/or Radial a plus)
• Understanding of the web as a shopping and informational medium
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Atlassian products a must (Selenium, Telium, Basecamp, Restful API experience a plus)
