The Manager Decision Support manages all phases of Decision Support and assists the management team and key decision-makers in the strategic decision making/planning process by providing strategic analysis of hospital operations. Key responsibilities will include: maintenance and reporting from the cost accounting system; use of financialdatabases for ad-hocreporting; preparation of monthly/yearly financialreports; participation in Division Decision Support meetings to ensure consistent reporting standards.
BS/BA in clinical, business or IS degree. Seven years relevant experience.
Graduate degree such as MBA or MHA preferred. Strong analytical skills and an understanding of financial operations of a hospital including strong cost accounting knowledge and proficiency with financial system applications. Must possess a high degree of accuracy with attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required. Must possess strong excel skills including advanced functions. Able to prioritize and accomplish multiple simultaneous projects of varying intensity and duration.
