Responsibilities

The Manager of Corporate Finance is responsible for managing financial planning and forecasting for NBCU Corporate Staff Functions. This role will have significant interaction with department heads and executive leaders, particularly through the budget and estimate cycles. In addition, the manager will participate in /coordinate ad hoc projects as requested.


Responsibilities

Corporate Staff Functions / Other Corporate/HQ Entities:

  • Responsible for preparation and maintenance of budgets, estimates and long range plan for assigned Corporate HQ Departments, including expenses, cash flow and headcount
  • Manage closing process including journal entries, pacing, variance analysis reporting
  • Review and maintain the capital expenditure approval process and tracking. Support all capex related activities
  • Act as day-to-day liaison and partner to department heads and coordinators, developing good working relationships. Coordinate and actively participate in financial results reviews with senior leaders
  • Drive controllership function and ensure all accounting policies are strictly adhered to which including performing periodic audits of T&E & P Cards
  • Create management reports and presentations on a routine and ad hoc basis
  • Continually review financial processes to improve overall efficiency and accuracy and drive effective financial forecasting

Other Analysis & Ad Hoc Projects:

· Identify opportunities to create value-added financial analysis for assigned corporate HQ divisions

· Participate in other ad hoc projects

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance and Accounting
