Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Execute control procedures related to preparation and review of journal entries, daily, weekly or monthly uploads and reconciliation of subsystems to the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliation
  • Execute in monthly reporting process in the Group’s SAP BPC system
  • Ensure balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled with appropriate supporting documentation
  • Supervising direct reports including managing and allocating work and performance appraisals.
  • Evaluate Headquarters processes for efficiencies and process improvements; prepare detailed reports of findings and recommendations for management
  • Execute the monthly closing and reporting for corporate related entities
  • Assist in the perform monthly financialaudit and analysis on financialreporting, budget results and cash flow
  • Ensure delivery of accurate, timely and relevant financial information to internal and external customers
  • Ensure compliance with accepted accounting principles in assigned areas of responsibility
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment
  • Coach, lead, train and develop team members
  • Maintain departmental efficiency and effectiveness
  • Communicate with management concerning, but not limited to, departmental activities, workflows and employee development
  • Work on special projects as assigned
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of professional level experience in accounting
  • Minimum of four (4) years of related supervisory or management experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting theories and principles and the ability to apply that knowledge to work projects
  • Strong financial documentation, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a large corporate accounting structure
