Job Description

Assist Director, Contract Management to create contract legal agreements between Teva and its customers. Builds effective internal and external client relationships in order to create and manage contract terms and conditions that best serve the needs of Teva and its customers. Includes coordinating efforts with Legal, Finance, Sales and others in drafting agreements and amendments.

Manages contract activity including coordination of contract terms and conditions for sales agreements. Ensures accurate and timely dissemination of contract related information to all interested parties both internal and external to Teva.

Responsible for entry and maintenance of all department documents in the appropriate repository, including compliance with established naming conventions, entry & upkeep of department tracking logs.

Presents integrated terms and conditions analyses to key internal and external customers.

Ensures contract accuracy and completeness in line with contract administration activities, including chargebacks, returns and rebates.

Continually seeks out opportunities for functional improvement and improved business processes.

Manage both brand and generic divisional and state supplemental contracts as assigned by Director, Contract Management.

Work with Director, Contract Management to expand competency and understanding of contract document content, structure and development.

Follows Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or major related to contract terms and conditions

Education Preferred

MBA in Business, Marketing or Pharmacy

Experience Required:

3+ years progressive experience in a sales/marketing, contracts administration or business development setting including business/financial analysis, project management, presentation and relationship building experience, or experience with creation and development of legal contracts

5-10+ years experience in a contracts administration role, including experience writing contract terms and conditions

Experience Preferred:

Medium to large organization experience

Pharmaceutical experience

Supervisory experience helpful, but not mandatory

Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:

Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Workshare Compare

Functional Knowledge:

General understanding/knowledge of the inner workings of pharmaceutical contract management review process. Attention to detail in all areas is a plus.

Company/Industry Related Knowledge:

General understanding/knowledge of generic and brand pharmaceutical industry. Understanding of standard terms and incentives offered to industry customers is a plus.
