Key Responsibilities/Outcomes (include but are not limited to):
- Oversee the Community Engagement Associates (CE) on the ground who are working in nine markets to mobilize volunteers of UNICEF UNITE – the organization’s grassroots organizing model designed to advocate, fundraise, speak out and build community in support of UNICEF’s mission
- Provide guidance and training to Community Engagement Associates on their functions, professional activities and operations
- Gather input from CE Associates on the development of UNICEF USA's volunteer recruitment, retention, training and recognition needs and user experience
- Offer support to the Community Engagement Associates and their volunteer leaders as it relates to brand stewardship, data privacy, child safeguarding, constituent stewardship, and fundraiser & event protocols
- Manage CE Associates on the recruitment, training and onboarding of their volunteer leaders, providing guidance and ensuring timely, quality results related to volunteer management
- Liaise with the Office of Public Policy and Advocacy and the CFCI teams to manage work flows and execution of deliverables conducted by the CE Associates
- Coordinate with the Community Engagement team on campaigns, communications, social media, data, monitoring and reporting
- Send internal communications related to activations to align staff, ensure coordination and report impact
- Represent regional needs and points of view to the national Community Engagement team
- Some travel may be required to support on-the-ground activations in key markets
- Help collect, edit and share impact stories for internal and external audiences as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in community engagement and community organizing
- Demonstrated impact in mobilizing grassroots volunteers to achieve impact at scale
- Familiarity with digital campaigns and digital engagement
- General knowledge of child rights, development and humanitarian affairs
- Experience in advocacy and community organizing
- Experience in developing and leading trainings, workshops and learning agendas
- Strong communication skills – written and oral – are a must
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to consistently meet deadlines, track multiple concurrent projects and issues, and communicate with project stakeholders through standardized operating procedures is a must
- Ability to collect, analyze, organize, distill and present information effectively to different audiences and learners
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Proficiency in using Zoom (or experience in other digital meeting software) on a daily basis
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Blackbaud CRM, or the ability to learn these platforms, based on prior experience with other CRM tools is preferred
