The Role The Commercial Serviceable Assets (CSA) organization, within Pratt & Whitney, is seeking a sales representative to be based in Dallas, Texas. The selected candidate should have a technical understanding of the CFM56 commercial engine product in addition to the Pratt & Whitney product family.
Key roles and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
•Developing and maintaining effective relationships with customers as a credible strategic business partner.
•Establishing full year and monthly financial projections/updates for customers which are incorporated into the CSA sales financial plan.
•Gathering data as it relates to material demand, forecast and sales of commercial engine spare parts.
•Identifying business opportunities/threats and developing strategies to maintain or grow customer revenue.
•Proactively selling material to capture incremental business.
•Providing CSA offerings as well as incentive offerings (as it relates to spare parts) to customers.
•Handling all aspects of customer order administration.
•Supporting the resolution of day-to-day operational issues including at the customer site/business.
•Participating in/leading off-hours customer support conference calls (due to global requirements).
•Provide coverage, as needed, to assist coworkers.
•Representing the CSA sales team as an International Trade Compliance (ITC) focal point.
•Traveling domestically and internationally for business/customer needs.
4+ years of professional work experience
•Expert knowledge of the airline/aviation industry
•Knowledge of gas turbine engine and part nomenclature; engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) procedures; and familiarity with engine operation/assembly methods
•Work experience inclusive of airline/aviation aftermarket sales and negotiating with customers
•Extensive technical/business experience with the CFM56 commercial engine product
•Business-level written and verbal communications skills
•Ability to work independently as well as with a dynamic team of professionals •Knowledge of/experience with SAP
•Ability to favorably resolve complex business and sales issues
Bachelor’s degree in a business or aviation field of study
