Principal Responsibilities

  • Analytics andReporting
    • Insight generation and communication through the effective use of internal and external secondary data sources to conduct appropriate analyses and clear communication of actionable insights that will allow us to more effectively deliver our life transforming therapies to patients with rare and devastating diseases
    • Development and delivery of standard deliverables such as Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Market Reports and Weekly Performance Tracking
    • Assume responsibility for data integrity among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources. Ensure local adherence to global definitions.
  • Business Systems Lead (Alex 2.0)
    • Act as a local expert and manage all ongoing processes (internal and external), including enhancements, related to the ALEX/CRM platform
    • Design and conduct local system training for users within the affiliate
    • Assume responsibility for data integrity among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources
  • SalesForce Excellence
    • Sales Incentive Compensation – plandesign and execution
      • Support the administration of the sales incentive compensation program.
      • Evaluate SIP effectiveness and make recommendations for plan enhancement.
    • Sales Force Sizing, Targeting and Call Planning
      • Ensure data quality and accuracy on customer segmentation and targeting.
      • Responsible for territory alignment
    • SalesForce Data Analysis
      • Gather and prepare analysis based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate salesforce effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Strategic Partnering
    • Transcend a project-based mindset and be a strategic partner offering strategic insights that drive business decisions
    • Support Sales, Marketing and Finance (where applicable) for each therapeutic area with analysis and project management services.
    • Manage and drive projects that contribute to building and maintaining overall Business Intelligence reporting capabilities

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in Business Operations roles in pharmaceutical or biotech companies with experience in specialty/orphan drugs preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills – English required, French an asset
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; strong Access skills would be an asset
  • Experience with statistical data analysis such as linear models, multivariate analysis and sampling methods
  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools and data maintenance
  • Knowledge and familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably VEEVA
  • Forecast modeling and development capabilities
  • Demonstrated insight generation capabilities
  • Sales Incentive Compensation Plan design and execution experience
  • Primary Market Research experience
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally to understand the environment and translate opportunities into actions
  • Highly motivated self-starter mindset, curious

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Science, Business or Statistics
  • MBA – preferred
