Abbott Point of Care (APOC) has an opening for Manager US Commercial FP&A. This position leads a US commercial FP&A team of two analysts, providing comprehensive financialsupport to all levels of management within the US commercial organization. Scope of responsibilities includes the management of planning, analysis, financialreporting, and decision support activities. Planning responsibilities include development of Plans, LBEs and LRPs, as well as development of predictive modeling techniques. Financial reportingresponsibilities include analysis, preparation, and communication of monthly financial results to assure management understanding of monthly variances against established bench marks, as well as assuring compliance with CFMs, and GAAP.
Education experience requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.
6-8 years of progressive corporate Finance and Accountingexperience in Commercial FP&A, Audit, and/or Reporting positions. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals across all functions and at all levels of the organization. This position will interface on a regular basis with Directors, Controllers and Division VP’s. The individual must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, a proven track record of meeting deliverables, and an interest in managing and developing a team of financial analysts. Must have strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles and apply this knowledge to support business needs.
