Job Description:

We are looking for a Manager of Collection Analytics within the credit card operation’s Cardmember Assistance (CMA) business area. This role will be responsible for providing advanced and innovative analytical support to optimize the end-to-end collection activities and drive balanced effectiveness, efficiency and experience. The position offers a challenging environment for the right candidate to applyexperience and knowledge in a creative manner while also providing a unique opportunity to influence management and impact the portfolio in a significant way. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop best-in-class analytical capabilities to support various functional areas across the CMA group.

  • Collaborate with a diverse set of business partners across the enterprise to drive analytical agenda and provide thought leadership.

  • Lead the design and development of customized and in-depth analyses in the areas of portfolio diagnostics, predictive analytics and modeling.

  • Provide fact-based, compelling insights and recommendations to drive consensus and strategic alignment.

  • Explore and evaluate cutting-edge and innovative analytical capabilities including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Psychographics, etc.

  • Maximize team performance and foster a culture of productivity, responsiveness and quality

Skills:

  • A Master’s degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research or other quantitative fields a must. Ph.D. preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in the credit card or financial services industry. Prior experience in Risk Management or Analytics desirable.

  • Strong background in statistical analysis, segmentation and modeling.

  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills.

  • Knowledge and experience with various analytical tools/platforms including SAS/SQL, Teradata, Hadoop, Python, Tableau etc.

  • Strong people leader with the ability to develop, motivate and retain top talent

  • Must be collaborative and willing to work in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment.
