Functions/Duties of PositionOHSU has recently committed to implementing Microsoft Office 365 organization wide. In this role you will build and lead a new team who will set standards, define processes and implement the various products that are a part of the Microsoft Office 365 tool suite as well as provide support to existing core and cloud-based applications. Some of these existing applications include Exchange, email archiving, enterprise directory services, file storage and transport applications such as Axway secure transport, SharePoint and Your work will improve operational efficiency, increase productivity and overhaul communication throughout the organization. Job RequirementsQualifications:


Master's degree in computer science or related field, and four year's work related experience in the information technology field;OR

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and six year's work related experience in the information technology field;OR

Equivalent Combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate's degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor's degree


  • Minimum three years' experience serving as a Director/Manager/Lead capacity for Microsoft products deployed at enterprise scale.
  • Extensive experience installing and maintaining highly available production applications.

Job Related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills including cross-functional collaboration with multidisciplinary groups and a variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of enterprise infrastructure (both cloud-based and on-premises), including knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, enterprise application deployment and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle and related practices, including technical architecture concepts, source control and code migration methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to translate business needs into application and operational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft O365 is strongly preferred.
  • Experience serving in a lead technology role within an academic health center.
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft Office 365 products, including upgrades and other system maintenance, integrations beyond the Microsoft Office 365 suite and knowledge of industry best practices. Knowledge of permission schemes, configuration options, and workflows.
