About the Role

The Manager 6 Client Events, US is an integral part of Latham 2s Events, Sponsorships & Travel team. This role will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing client 2facing events and experiential opportunities, while owning and leading the end 2to 2end strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of a portfolio of client events, including seminars, conferences, sponsorships, and hospitality experiences. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a strategic advisor to partners and senior stakeholders on event strategy, format, audience targeting, and execution
  • Partnering with Business Development colleagues to understand strategic objectives across practices, industries, and markets, and curating event strategies that align with those goals
  • Providing senior 2level oversight of event logistics and execution during the planning process and on 2site, proactively identifying and resolving risks or issues
  • Leading event budgeting and financial oversight, including budget development, spend tracking, vendor negotiations, and post 2event return on investment (ROI) reporting
  • Partnering with Business Development, Brand & Communications, and other internal teams to ensure consistent branding and integrated communications
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retainsa0
