The key responsibilities of the role include:


Responsible for managing teams executing cash movement, Foreign Exchange (FX) and trade-related journal entries for high-touch corporate and custody clients. Lead efforts in identifying, assessing and monitoring control of risk issues inherent to the business unit. Handle escalated issues and ensuring exceptions are resolved timely. Conducts performance management and career development processes, make staffing decisions and execute disciplinary actions.

Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities

Assist with the development and successful implementation of systems, processes and projects.

Ensure sufficient staffing is maintained to support the work, including identifying and training partners as necessary

Analyze and close any gaps in implementing process/procedure changes.

Conduct performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands-on training to staff

Develop periodic goals, organize the work, set short-term priorities, monitor all activities, and ensure timely and accurate completion of the work.

Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult

Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management

The successful candidate will benefit from having: 

College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required. Related Industry qualification is preferred. 

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge of Payments, Swifts and FX are required. 

Analytical and problem solving skills are required. 

Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and to manage and motivate team members towards the goals set.
