Kforce's client, a leading regional Public Accounting/Business Consulting firm is seeking a Manager - Business Transformation Consulting in New York, NY. This role is highly visible and impactful, they are offering great compensation and advancement potential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver small to medium projects or components of large, complex client engagements
  • Manage the execution of business process, systems, and/or organizational transformation, the development of strategy and planning deliverables
  • Meet with clients, perform data analysis, assess processes and systems, and make recommendations
  • Build and manage project plans, create and run project portfolio management efforts, and work to become a trusted advisor to mid and senior-level client staff

Requirements

  • 5-8years of experience with a consulting firm or 7-10 years of experience in corporate role delivering strategy and operations projects
  • Experience with a consulting practice of a Big 4 or similar consulting firm
  • Experience in one of the following practice areas: corporate strategy, operations improvement, human capital, or systems implementation
  • Expertise in one or more of the following functional areas: finance, sales operations, manufacturing, and supply chain
  • Understanding of relational databases and SQL and the use of enterprise systems and trends in cloud applications, system integration, and mobiletechnologies
  • Understanding of or certifications in Lean/Six-Sigma
  • Familiarity with or certifications in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
  • Understanding of cross-functional coordination and managing both dotted and solid line relationships at different levels of a company understanding of change management practices, particularly stakeholder analysis and communications
  • Broad understanding of how businesses operate and compete, and an understanding of the relationship between major functional areas
  • Excellent business writing and presentation skills, superior organization skills with the ability to balance multiple projects of varying complexity
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data and synthesize finding
  • Ability to create detailed project plans, resource load and balance, and manage on an ongoing basis
