Position Summary: The Business Development Manager will drive lead response, maintain and create new targeted calling campaigns and monitor Business Development Representatives (SDR’s). This person will be responsible for training and motivating the SDR team, as well as, reporting onperformance to upper level management. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to find, interview, and hire SDR employees
  • Interact with the Sales team and other groups to drive business opportunities
  • Maintain high performance on current campaigns
  • Create new strategic lists for new campaigns
  • Insure marketing material is aligned with corporate messages that are established to be presented over the phone (call scripts, voicemails, emails)
  • Maintain a training program for new and existing SDR reps
  • Spend 25% - 50% of time to work with reps to help coach, mentor, and improve performance
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as outlined by direct supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience managing a sales/business development team
  • 5+ years of experience in sales
  • Strong interpersonal, written, phone and verbal skills
  • Knowledge or experience using Salesforce and customer contact database
  • Highly ambitious and self-starter with relentless work ethic
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment
  • Ability to train and motivate a sales team
  • Working knowledge of typical sales processes, metrics, and sales management technicques
  • Must have a strong desire to be a top sales performer

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS or BA degree preferred but not required
  • Software and technology sales
