Responsibilities

  • Directly manages a team of resources that might be remote. Insures they are trained and understand their role
  • Develops measureable and obtainable goals for each team member and monitors on a consistent basis using key performance indicators
  • Acts as a career mentor and provides constructive feedback in timely manner
  • Works closely with Perficient PMO to scope, cost, prioritize and resource projects with business solution resources
  • Nurtures skills in team members and helps to develop internal talent
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other IT resources and team members on daily issues and/or project related tasks
  • Develops a detailed understanding/awareness of the workflows and processes that take place within assigned business accounts; leverages that knowledge to provide informed recommendations to business stakeholders regarding the practical use of technology
  • Guides business stakeholders through the process of evaluating specific technologies that can impact how they do their day-to-day work (i.e. technology/software/vendor evaluation and selection)
  • Guides business stakeholders in gaining clarity and effectively articulating specific business needs where technology can have an impact (i.e. requirements gathering)
  • Collaborates with IT teams to effectively translate business requirements into functional requirements for application customization and technical requirements for system connectivity that engineers and developers can understand and take concrete action on. Manage the process for handling changing business requirements through the course of active IT projects
  • Contributes to the configuration of system settings and options where applicable, plans and executes required testing strategies
  • Organizes and conducts vendor demonstrations or prototypes to vet solution applicability
  • Develops and facilitates the execution of work plans for IT projects; regularly communicates timelines and sets expectations of business stakeholders throughout the end-to-end process
  • Manages the process for handling changing business requirements through the course of active IT projects
  • Regularly monitors the “health” of technology solutions for assigned business accounts; facilitates escalation procedures when a critical issue impacts an active technology solution
  • Evangelizes the standards and processes that IT uses to evaluate, implement, and support software-based business solutions with key stakeholders from assigned business accounts
  • Communicates scheduled updates for technology solutions to business users in a timely manner; facilitates planning efforts of business accounts by effectively articulating potential impacts on day-to-day work
  • Supports negotiations for licensing and maintenance fees with 3rd party vendors

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; graduate/advanced degree and/or PMP certification highly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience working with clients in a consultative manner to solve business problems using technology and data-driven techniques
  • Proven ability to “delight” clients through excellent customer service
  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking with natural curiosity to distill detailed functional requirements for technology solutions based on input from business users 5+ years of leading people on project or teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to translate technical or abstract concepts into a narrative that is intuitive to clients
  • Proven ability to present complex data in a visual format that is intuitive to clients
  • Proven ability to manage projects in a self-directed manner
  • Strong knowledge of CRM, HR, and Financial business process
  • 5+ years Expertise with design, implementation, and support of CRM, HR, and Financial business applications – Oracle EBS preferred
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint
  • Hands-on expertise with BI/reporting tools preferred
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts preferred
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
