Oversee the business analysis and quality assurance testing process. Manages the team (employees and contractors) that performs requirements definition, analysis, design, construction and implementation of new - and modifications to existing - information systems to enhance and supportbusiness process automation; and QA testing on applications. Ensures effective integration of new and existing information systems. Resolves complex business issues, and recommends information systems technology solutions. Facilitates business process improvement by determining the most optimal application of people, process and technology. . Possesses a wide breadth and depth of all business applications and applicable technologies. This role performs some hands-on Business Analysis and Quality Assurance tasks.
Education & Experience
o Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experienceo 5 years IT management experienceo 5 years of experience in business systems analysis, systems quality assurance, and applications support o Experience managing teams involved in complex systems and business process effortso Experience with process flow documentationPreferred
o Health care experience. o A documented history of building and maintaining strong business relationships.
o The Manager BA and QA oversees the IT enterprise business analysis and quality assurance areas. This resource also, as an occasional individual contributor, develops, delivers and maintains quality information system solutions to support business processes, following all IT guidelines and architectures. Balances clients' business requirements and preferred technical architecture to provide effective information systems solutions. Directs team to take reasonable risks to implement creative and innovative information systems solutions to a wide range of business and/or technical problems. Provides leadership and strategy to team so as to provide client assistance and support for operation systems consistent with service level agreements. Apply business, functional, or technical expertise to optimize business process and determine automation requirements. Ensures compliance with established standards, codes and regulationso With minimal direction, guide group to deliver quality results on time and within budget. o Leads BA/QA Team in the development of effective business cases using sound cost/benefit analysis. For large or multiple projects, the managerwill coordinate all phases of project planning and execution, including estimating resources and tasks, creating, managing and controlling projectschedules and resources. Understands, forecasts, monitors and reports on project expenses. Supports the development of project budgetsoLeads project team assignments of large and complex scope requiring expert technical skills or good understanding of business functions. Acts toproduce effective teams and actively supports team decisions. Coaches and trains team members. o Knows and understands client's business environment, priorities and processes.
