Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting department and coordinating agency financial and interacting with subsidiary staff in our consolidated financial reporting. Develops/revises and implements accounting controls, policies and procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Works under general supervision.
Licensure: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Masters in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline preferred.
Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in accounting or auditing required. Minimum of three years of supervisory experiencerequired. Proficient with personal computers, including MS Office suite (Word, Excel) required. Experience using PeopleSoft preferred.
