As a member of Neudesic’s Digital Business Management Consulting Group, you will be expected to contribute to the firm’s growth and development in a variety of ways. You will be responsible for engagement management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement risk.

Management Consultants manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. You will be expected to participate in Business Development, develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process. Management Consultants must contribute to Practice Development: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop “insightful” and “point- of-view” documents, case studies and deliverables. We invest in our people, as a Management Consultant you will be responsible for people development, performing the role of mentor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide support for delivery teams and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business objectives and operational readiness related to a client’s needs
  • Translate a client’s strategic direction and business objectives into holistic project plans
  • Partner with client executives to achieve client objectives
  • Design and lead consulting projects for Fortune 1000 clients
  • Proactively manage multiple commitments and tasks simultaneously
  • Design and deliver client deliverables based on client needs and expectations
  • Manage project schedule, scope, and risk across the entire digital transformation lifecycle
  • Execute work plans in the field and assist with the preparation of presentations and proposals.
  • Coordinate with technical resources in aligning deliverables to address human interaction with technical solutions
  • Actively align cross-functional stakeholders around objectives and measures of success
  • Proactively identify, mitigate and resolve issues that may adversely impact a project
  • Present updates and executive presentations to all levels in the organization ranging from C-Level executives to program leads to drive desicions and next steps
  • Work directly with mid-to-senior level clients to present ideas and recommendations
  • Facilitate meetings and participate in working sessions with clients
  • Analyze proposed changes and determine impacts on business processes and organizational design
  • Assess any changes in employees’ skill requirements resulting from proposed changes
  • Implement communication and training programs that prepare the organization for consumption of new digital business processes and incentivize adoption
  • Continuously communicate project status and results
  • Conduct diagnostic interviews and clearly aggregate and present results
  • Collect necessary data on existing workflows to understand organizational impacts related to a specific change to the business group, customer, or partner and deliver prescriptive recommendations to ensure a smooth transition
  • Provide analytical support to project teams and conduct research and data analysis to support the team’s analysis and conclusions
  • Leverage execution skills to achieve desired results.
  • Write articles and white papers on Neudesic Service Lines and Offerings
  • Create case studies to support marketing and business development efforts
  • Contribute to business development activities such as pre-sales client presentations, research, requests for proposal (RFPs), and responses to statements of work (SOWs)
  • Coach and develop Associate Management Consultants and Business Analysts

Additional Skills, Competencies & Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university required
  • 5+ years of traditional management consultingexperiencepreferred
  • 3+ years of experience at a leading consulting firm preferred (Accenture, Deloitte, PWC, EY, KPMG CapGemini, Booz Allen Hamilton, Point B, Slalom, etc.)
  • Diversified functional skills and cross industryexperience
    • Demonstrated expertise in leading organizational change.
      • Working understanding of Kotter and Prosci preferred
    • Demonstrated expertise in business process engineering
      • Formal education & experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Systems Theory, Queueing Theory, or other preferred
    • Demonstrated mastery of Agile (iterative) and Waterfall (sequential) program management required.
    • Demonstrated successful implementation of recommendations within 5 unique cultures required.
  • Strong combination of technical and business expertise

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced, persuasive and effective presenter, both verbal and written
  • Eager to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to demonstrate an eye for detail
