This person will work in a multi-projects environment in an effort to coordinate required preventative maintenance and repairs with production schedules. Needs to respond in a timely manner to production request with prioritization of repairs and projects. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, outside contractors and vendors.
Provides technical support to Maintenance and Production Departments by:
· Managing and maintaining company mobile equipment fleet
· Managing and maintaining company maintenance software
· Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of APLs
· Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of PM schedules and reports associated with scheduling
· Recommending workable solutions for mobile equipment repairs and replacement
· Obtain quotes and requisition mobile equipment repair parts
· Assists in the implementation of proposed solutions through correct uses of financial, equipment, and human resources
Participates in product development and product support
Acts as a technical liaison between Maintenance Superintendent, Operations Superintendent and Quarry Superintendent
Helps improve equipment availability and reduce maintenance costs.
Office and plant environment. May be exposed to routine industrial health and safety hazards and will be required to use respirators, ear, eye, and foot protection as well as hard hat. Job requires mobility and adaptability to accommodate changing needs and priorities.
Managing and maintaining mobile equipment fleet repairs
Managing and maintaining maintenance software and generating reports
Back up for Maintenance Superintendent’s supervisory responsibilities
Obtaining quotes and requisitioning parts and service
Coordinates repairs with production, plant mechanics and outside contractors
Collect and compile maintenance costs and assist with budget
Strong problem solving ability
Outstanding communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Hands-on process experience or aptitude
Strong desire for excellence and “can do” attitude
BS Degree in Maintenance or EngineeringTechnology or equivalent.
5-8Years experience in an industrial setting with similar processes or equipment.
