Maintenance Manager


Global $10B manufacturer of a diverse line of Food products seeks a Maintenance Management professional to oversee all manufacturing (processing, packaging, and facility maintenance) operations, focusing on efficiencies, Quality, and cost objectives in a southern Missouri facility. This Maintenance manager will be the first technical manager on site, with a key role in the overall Plant Management group, with responsibilities for team training, setting department production and performance goals, and for maintaining a solid Team and Continuous Improvement culture.

?        A demonstrated record of managing assets through a Preventive Maintenance program, minimizing downtime by maintaining equipment and facilities based on good engineering practices,

?        A record of department budget management, including costs forecasting as well as setting and meeting objectives,

?        Knowledge of applicable regulatory specifications (i.e. USDA, FSA, OSHA, ADA, EPA),

?        Experience with equipment capabilities and manufacturer standards,

?        Experience with and coordination with Corporate Engineering on project management and equipment maintenance,

?        Experience in Team Building through skills training, career planning, and plant-floor coaching, and

?        Experience in the use of and implementation of Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing tools.


Qualifications of the Maintenance Manager

?        A BS Degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline with 5 or more years of Maintenance leadership experience in a Food or closely related manufacturing environment

?        Demonstrated experience with manufacturing automation, including PLC/HMI, Network configuration, and applications such as SAP or similar systems

?        Demonstrated experience with boiler operation (ammonia experiencepreferred) and Sanitary standards

?        Better Process Control certification is a plus

Job Type: Full Time


Compensation: $90-$100K and up, plus bonus. The benefits, incentive compensation, stability and relocation package are at the top of the industry.
