Analyze and continuously improve plant equipment reliability and mechanical integrity to achieve highest degree of equipment effectiveness at lowest sustainable cost. Products manufactured include: pesticides, catalysts, rubber chemicals, oil additives, and various specialty chemicals.
*** Direct and manage site Mechanical Integrity, Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, and similar programs.
*** Guide Total Safety Process activities such as inspections, audits, Applied Process Technology submittals, hazard reviews, audits, and near miss investigations.
*** Stay abreast of and evaluate new methodologies, work practices, equipment & machinery technology, and similar for application and use within plant.
*** Implement maintenance driven capital projects.
*** Assist in planning and execution of plant maintenance outages.
*** Provide technical support to field maintenance to resolve mechanical problems.
*** Ensure all maintenance work is performed in accordance with maintenance engineering standards.
*** Serve as subject matter expert related to design codes: American Society Mechanical Engineers' (ASME) Pressure Vessel Code (Sec I and Sec VIII), PI 620 and 650 design codes (flat bottom tanks), B31.1 and B31.3 piping codes, and similar.
*** Provide technical expertise related to repair codes: National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) (repair and re-rating of ASME pressure vessels), API 653 (repair of API flat bottom tanks), and similar.
Requires Engineering Degree.
