Collaborate with Automation and Manufacturing groups to design, program, troubleshoot, and startup electrical power, drive & control systems for specialized automation machines.
*** Design circuit and layout drawings of control and power panels in accordance with National Electric Code and corporate standards.
*** Detail designs in compliance with established specifications. Ensure mechanical design compliance with customer requirements.
*** Program and debug control software, including Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interfaces, Servo Drives, Vision Inspection Systems, and range of industrial robots.
*** Provide electrical drawings for assembly and job documentation.
*** Identify long-lead purchase items and initiate purchase of material.
***Support shop personnel with equipment testing and troubleshooting.
*** Review sales and engineering information with managers to implement project timeline and budget.
*** Provide technical expertise related to machines and vision inspection systems.
