 Job Requirements     The successful candidate will:
Be a graduate from an accredited school of medicine and General Surgery Residency
Have completed an American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS)-accredited fellowship
Board Certified in General Surgery
Possess a valid Medical License to practice in the State of Florida
Be credentialed by United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS)
Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience with deceased and living donor kidney transplantation
Be a US citizen or permanent resident

Job Description     Lee Health, recognized nationally for clinical quality and service, is seeking an experienced kidney transplant surgeon for a full-time position. The successful applicant will be competent in kidney transplantation as well as laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy. The applicant will join a multidisciplinary team consisting of an additional surgeon, nephrologists, clinical social worker, dietitian, financial counsellor and a transplant coordinator.

Over the past 2 years, Lee Health Transplant Institute has worked closely with UNOS and undergone a complete, physician-led rebuild from the ground up.
The Lee Health Transplant Institute is a patient-centered, physician-led, multidisciplinary team committed to quality care and transplant excellence. According to a UNOS review this year, the Lee Health Kidney Transplant Program is a "model transplant program" and is fully UNOS accredited.
