As the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) Management Director, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally to oversee North America (NA) Transportation service providers. You will foster an environment of growth, retention and accountability with our service partners, leveraging data analytics to create value-added solutions. You will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify needs and gaps with existing service providers and oversee the development and implementation of RFIs/RFPs, including the implementation of carrier contracts.
Through your leadership in this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with NIKE's strategic partners in support of our on-going business needs. You will partner with NA Transportation leadership to develop and maintain a partner segmentation strategy and host cross-functional business reviews. Business reviews will include performance trend analysis, root cause assessment for favorable/unfavorable performance, opportunities for growth, delivery process and financial improvements, as well as opportunities to drive innovation. You will also partner with the Transportation Strategy and Analytics team to develop consistent tools and reports which will drive increased transparency and measure performance. You will be responsible for ensuring partners are billing accurately and adhering to contracted rate structures, while also confirming that all providers have the appropriate measures in place to ensure NIKE freight is being managed appropriately, including routine audits.
Finally, you will act as the subject matter expert, providing a macro view of industry trends and market pressures. You will partner with NA Transportation Leadership to provide network updates and propose changes to existing rate structures and/or service levels.
