Job Title: Locum Hospitalist Oncology
Job Specialty: Hospitalist - Oncology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days 8 am - 5 pm, inpatient rounding, admitting, consulting
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Not specified
License: Idaho license required
Certifications: BLS, Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Medical Oncology/Hematology, Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS), DEA
Must-Have:
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology or Medical Oncology/Hematology
- Active Idaho medical license
- CSR, DEA, BLS certifications
- COVID vaccine
Job Description:
- Practice setting involves inpatient rounding, admitting, and consulting
- Engage with a patient population comprised of both oncology and hematology in an inpatient unit
- Responsibilities include treating oncology and hematology patients and administering medication
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system/EMR for patient records
- No supervision of other healthcare providers required
- Outpatient oncologists are available for support or any questions
- Must have clean background and malpractice records
- Support staff does not include APP coverage
- Local candidates are highly preferred to avoid flight requirements
