Primary Responsibility:

- Design, implement and support our platform

- Sustain the platform (patches, upgrades, IAM, AAA review etc.,)

- Implement DR plan; Execute DR testing

- Support Production; partake in on-call rotation

- Author Standard Operating Procedures for team to follow (for Incident response and management)

- Follow established Change Control steps to release new software to various environments (Release management)

- Communicate and lead triaging calls in support of issue resolution

- Train peer team members


- Strong Networking skills - VLANs, IP addressing, DNS, Load Balancers, SSL/TLS, Certificates, tcp/ip

- Expert Linux Skills - (have you re-complied Linux Kernel? - now that’s expert level!)

- Expert sub-system knowledge on Storage (disk) & memory management (physical memory, swap)

- Ability to independently assess business requirements and build solutions under minimal supervision

- Intermediate AWS and VMWare skills

- Intermediate Oracle MySQL Database knowledge (to run SQL scripts, review SQL logs etc.,)

- Monetra Application knowledge (Training will be provided)

- Create and/or maintain Network and Systems diagrams using MS Visio or similar tool

- Willingness to learnother systems tools in use

- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

- Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline or greater preferably in Computer Science

- CCNA certification

- MCSE Certification

- RHCE Certification (RHCE)
