Life Fitness is looking for digital savvy, highly motivated sales professional to join our Sponsored Content team in Chicago, IL. This role is responsible for maximizing advertising sales potential, through the development of quality business relationships and promotion of a new to the industry advertising platform. Our ideal candidate will be goal oriented, a relentless hunter, driving to win new businesses, and has a track record of exceeding monthly goals. This position requires a heavy amount of prospecting and lead-development, and thus an excellent telephone manner is essential, as are written and oral communication skills. You will also need good negotiation skills and the ability to respond to objections.

- Ownership over the development of a book of accounts.
- Proactively identifies new revenue opportunities and drives account growth and profitability acceleration including new business, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Proactively managing sales activity, pipeline and lead generation to achieve achieves revenue and growth targets and other sales related goals.
- Owns revenue forecasting and ensures accuracy of pipeline.
- Owns extensive client communication, strategic planning and troubleshooting account complications to promote client satisfaction.
- Strengthens the customer relationship by providing thought leadership and consultation on aligning client business needs to the unique solutions offered.
- Creates value and differentiates our services and products from competitors.
- Drives contract negotiations for new business accounts regarding new sales, account growth and contract renewals as appropriate.
- Gains working knowledge of company digital products and audiences and how to effectively deploy them for customer(s) benefit.
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields
- 5+ years’ experience in media sales
- Previous successful experience calling directly on digital advertising clients and/or agencies, with strong and proven established relationships
- Powerful sales, presentation and communication skill sets
- Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
- Ability to establish credibility with senior-level executives to serve as a trusted consultant to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
- Experience working with or selling B2C/B2B Media advertising products/software.
- Proven success working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships internally and externally
- Exceptional player/coach mentality, interested in working as part of a highly growth-focused team
- Leverage data analytics to make strategic and tactical business decisions
- Comfortable with up to 30% travel depending on business needs
