•Develop and deliver customer-specific proof of concept and product demonstrations.•Develop process “recipes” for common metals for use by commercial customers.
•Present LENS Technology at conferences, seminars, or trade shows.•Respond to the technical elements of RFI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s.•Analyze feasibility studies and define customer requirements to the product development team. •Travel throughout the sales territory (domestic and international) in support of product installations and training. •Provide technical input to the product roadmap(s).
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOBEducation:
•Ph.D. in physical sciences or engineering, preferably in metallurgy or material processing.•Master’s degree will be considered based on previous and future materials scienceapplication.
•3-5+ years of experience with laser-based processing material systems such as welding, powder bed, or directed energy deposition.
•Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.•Experience in Additive Manufacturing Industry a Plus
